The body of the Echo 5 like all Echo trailers are constructed to a high standard and are purpose built, they are definitely not an adapted or modified box trailer.
The high quality steel is e coated and powder coated to withstand the harsh conditions an offroad trailer is exposed to.
Quality automotive seals and camlocks for dust and waterproofing are used throughout the trailer.
Premium South African 400gram rip stop canvas with YKK zips is used in the campertrailer tents. Couple this with heavy duty waterproof vinyl hitch is not affected by mould or rot to provide a durable tent and awnings. Aluminium poles and unique spring pegs complete the trailer.
Like its bigger cousin the drawbar exceeds Australian design rule standard 62/01 and the chassis is CNC cut from sheet steel, bent and welded in the factory before the hot dip galvanising process.
Our chassis utilises automotive design principles to reduce weight without compromising strength.
Combine this with tough leaf spring suspension and quality shocks, 10" electric brakes, a 3.5 tonne DO35 off road hitch and you have a tough reliable 4x4 trailer.
